Rain couldn’t stop the fun on Loch Ness Dr.

The Loch Ness Homeowners Association had big, colorful plans this weekend. Families and kids from across the neighborhood were invited to break out the chalk and transform the sidewalks of Loch Ness Dr. into an open-air art gallery as part of the community’s very first Chalk It Up Sundays event.
🌧️ Rain Forecast for May 3 — Event Canceled
Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other ideas. With rain in the forecast for May 3rd, organizers made the tough call to cancel the event before it could get underway. It was a disappointment for families who had been looking forward to an afternoon of sidewalk masterpieces and community fun.
But not everyone packed up their chalk and went home! A handful of spirited homeowners decided to head outside anyway and make the most of the day. Among those who refused to let a little weather dampen their creativity were Sophia, Lucia, and Camila, who took to the streets of Loch Ness Dr. and created some truly impressive and joyful artwork. Their colorful designs were a bright reminder of exactly what this event is all about — fun, community, and a little bit of chalk-covered magic. 🎉
