As President, he leverages his extensive background in communication and civic leadership to ensure the Association remains transparent, organized, and a strong voice for our residents within Miami Lakes.

Adonis Sardinas

Vice Presedent

Adonis is a technical project manager and digital strategist with a focus on operational efficiency. He oversees the modernization of our Association’s digital tools and leads the Architectural Control Committee (ACC), ensuring that our neighborhood’s aesthetic standards are maintained while streamlining the approval process for homeowners.

Manny Campos

Secretary

Manny brings a wealth of experience in business consulting and commercial insurance consultant and investment advisor. His professional background in operations and logistics is vital to his role as Secretary

Miriam Campos

Treasurer

Miriam is a cornerstone of the Loch Ness community, having been a resident and dedicated neighbor for many years. Her deep historical knowledge of the neighborhood and her commitment to fiscal responsibility ensure that our HOA remains financially sound and focused on the essential needs of our 148 homes.

Cesar Gerardo Gaitan

Assistant Treasurer

Cesar is a long-standing and dedicated member of the Loch Ness community, having served the Association alongside Miriam and Manny for many years. As Assistant Treasurer, he provides essential historical continuity and a deep commitment to the Association’s financial stewardship, ensuring our community’s resources are managed with the care and experience that comes from years of local service.

Ibis is a long-standing resident of Loch Ness and a vital pillar of our association. As the Lead of the Community Committee, she brings deep historical knowledge of our neighborhood and a passion for fostering neighborly connections, ensuring Loch Ness remains a welcoming place for everyone.

Community Committee

Roberto brings a strong professional management background and a keen eye for detail to the Loch Ness Board. Serving on both the Community Committee and the Architectural Control Committee (ACC), he is dedicated to maintaining the aesthetic integrity of our streets and ensuring association standards are met for the benefit of all 148 homeowners.

Elva M. Resillez

Community Committee

Elva is a seasoned operations professional currently serving as a Senior Director of Revenue Operations. Her expertise in accounting and organizational strategy is a significant asset to the Community Committee, where she applies her professional acumen to ensure association initiatives are managed with precision and transparency.

Loch Ness thrives when neighbors lend their talents. Whether you are a long-time resident or a student looking for service hours, there is a place for you.

1. Architectural Control Committee (ACC)

  • Role: Maintains the aesthetic harmony and property values of our 148 homes.
  • Responsibilities: Reviewing resident applications for fences, paint, sheds, and roofs to ensure they align with our community bylaws.
  • Expectations: Accuracy and a fair eye for detail. Members must be familiar with the Association’s Governing Documents.
  • Time Commitment: 1–2 hours per month (reviewing emailed applications as they arrive).

2. Code Compliance Committee

  • Role: Acts as a neighborly liaison to keep our streets looking their best.
  • Responsibilities: Identifying common area issues or property maintenance concerns that may impact neighborhood safety or curb appeal.
  • Expectations: Focus on solutions and helpful communication with neighbors to avoid formal violations.
  • Time Commitment: 1 hour per month (periodic neighborhood walks).

3. Neighborhood Activities Committee

  • Role: Building community spirit and social connections.
  • Responsibilities: Organizing seasonal events like the “Loch Ness Monsters” holiday display and coordinating community-wide initiatives.
  • Expectations: Creativity and a passion for making Loch Ness a fun place to live.
  • Time Commitment: Varies by event (approx. 2–4 hours during holiday seasons).

4. Lake Maintenance Committee

  • Role: Stewardship of our central water feature.
  • Responsibilities: Monitoring the health of the lake, coordinating with professional maintenance crews, and ensuring shoreline compliance.
  • Expectations: Specifically for lakefront residents or those with an interest in local environmental health.
  • Time Commitment: 1 hour per month.

5. Neighborhood Safety Committee

  • Role: Liaison between the community and local law enforcement.
  • Responsibilities: Staying updated on Miami Lakes crime reports and coordinating “Watch” initiatives or safety improvements like canal life-ring maintenance.
  • Expectations: Vigilance and a commitment to resident safety.
  • Time Commitment: 1 hour per month.

Student & College Volunteers

Looking for Community Service Hours? Loch Ness HOA proudly supports local students and college applicants. You do not need to be a homeowner to help! We offer certified community service hours for:

  • Digital/Social Media assistance.
  • Community cleanup and “Green Initiatives.”
  • Event setup and coordination.
  • Administrative support for Board meetings.

Typical Time Requirements & Florida Law

Per Florida Statute Chapter 720, committee meetings are open to all members and must be properly noticed.

  • Active Duty: Most roles require only 1 to 3 hours per month.
  • Flexibility: As a volunteer-run association, we value your time and offer flexible remote options for most administrative committee work.
