π Neighborhood Spraying β How It Works
When Miami-Dade County receives enough mosquito reports from a neighborhood, they will schedule truck or aerial spraying treatments for that area. This means the more residents who call 311, the more likely our entire community will receive preventative treatments!
The spraying process:
- Treatments target mosquito larvae and adult mosquitoes
- Safe for people, pets, and pollinators when used according to EPA guidelines
- Spray schedules posted on Facebook (@305Mosquito) and Twitter (@305Mosquito)
- Treatments are done time and weather permitting
